Whitehouse.gov Highlights Autism

by Zach on January 21, 2009

in Politics

As is traditional on noon on the inaugiration day for a new President of the United States the website whitehouse.gov is changed to reflect the change of the occupant of the office of The President of The United States – and the change is a good one for those on the autism spectrum.

Just one click into the whitehouse.gov website, the Obama Administration outlines the  goals for Autism related legislation.  All you have to do is go to the Disabilities option under the Agenda Menu.  I know this is just a quick post but I thought its great to see that the new administration has placed the needs of Autistic Individuals in such high priority publicly.

There is nothing in the Constitution about helping Auties, nor hurting Auties. The Feddle Gummint has only a few enumerated powers. Yah, I know they started violating that, almost from the start, but it’s gotten really bad in the last hundred years or so.

What really bothers me is something else which just went up at http://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/urban_policy/

They talk about the new Prez and Veep, and say: “They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.”

So, they’ve violated their Oath of Office within minutes of swearing it.

BTW, there is no such thing as a “gun show loophole”, sales at gun shows are subject to the same laws as all other sales of guns. Trying to make guns childproof is stupid; better to teach yer kids how to be safe around guns.

Oh, “assault weapon” is any weapon used by someone to assault someone. It could be a knife, or a stick, or a rock.

The “assault weapons” those moonbats talk about are actually the constitutionally-protected infantry weapons which all citizens of our Republic should own, and used to be required to own.

Weep for the Republic!

Guns? really? the guy above me is talking about guns? You know who is talking about hoarding guns…LUNATIC, FANATIC, GUN NUTS, thats who! Every one else who goes on an autism spectrum site expects to read about issues dealing with (guess what) autism! If you are afraid, go a fear site. I currently don’t have any bookmarked but I’m sure you do.

Hey, liz, there are people who are autistic and also keep guns, and understand the special relationship guns have with the founding of the Republic, and also how the keeping and bearing of them preserve the Republic. If you wish to address the issue rationally, I’ll be happy to interact with you. What you have written seems driven more by emotion than reason. If you had used correct grammar, I might have taken you more seriously.
