Website Changes

in aspieweb

As some of you may have noticed there have been a few design changes to AspieWeb as of late.  The header image and some of the colors have been changed, as well as of a few advertisement placements.  I did this for a few reasons, but mainly because I was bored with the old design and was desiring a much more professional look.  Changes in advertisement placement were made to try and further encourage clicking of advertisements, and to remove the clutter feel that was put in by some of the advertisements.

Feel free to comment on this post, or contact me with your feelings about the changes.

It’s very smooth and I like the blue.

The ads? It’s something else.

I come to the blog for the editorial, not the advertisements.

The advertising is what pays for expenses in order to keep the editorial running.

When I’m on a site that is obviously supported by ads, I right-click the ads and ask to open in new tab… and then stay and read the editorial content. :)

I hope that just clicking through gives revenue because I do not usually buy anything through those links or anything. But it costs me nothing to do that :)

I like the other changes and appreciate the effort of trying to de-clutter the site :)

Yes just clicking through gives revenue.

I like the light blue too, the page seems more soothing to the eyes now.
