So I could use your help right now, well – to be honest Katelyn and I could use your help. Were in a bit of a situation.I’m going to be blunt here. Katelyn and I both are in a financial pickle. When I signed up for the fire academy I thought my financial aid could be used to buy fire gear, and uniforms. Sadly I made an assumption. I currently get SSI and that pays $674 a month, and I spent over $1000 this month on the fire academy out of pocket (with the help of some good friends and my dad). I also spent quite a chunk of change carting Kate back and forth to appointments, feeding her face, and trying to cheer her up.
Another piece of information is my lease is up this month, and my complex is refusing to renew my lease due to various reasons so I have to find a new apartment by the 25th of September. I currently have not enough money for first months rent + a security deposit so my current plan is to lock up my stuff in a storage facility, and stay homeless until mid October when I get financial aid or stay with a friend. Don’t worry I’ve been homeless and know how to take care of myself.
