Seeing as in America tomorrow is Thanksgiving day, a day in which we celebrate what we are thankful for I decided to make a list of a few things I’m thankful for. Lately I have been in a real struggle with a lot going on, but I also have a lot to be thankful for. There are many people in this world who are not blessed with the same opportunities I am. Many people in this world do not have the opportunity to even get better – which I do have.
I’m thankful for:
Forgivness: I like many others are not perfect. I’m thankful that others have forgiven me for what I have done.
Our Babies’ Health: I’m thankful for the health of Kate and I’s child. It has been a stressful time and I am happy to report I’m told the baby is very healthy.
Good Friends: I am thankful for the many good friends that have helped me through this situation.
Kate’s parents: I’m thankful for Kate’s parents who have been very forgiving and loving to me.
Kate: I’m thankful for Katelyn entering my life – without her I would never of known the meaning of love.

I am greatful for my guy, who’s name is also Zack who understands me as I understand myself! No one knows just how good it is to be around someone so much like me who actually gets it!!
I am thankful for his family, who have taken me in like I was one of thier own! They bend over backwards for me, and I do my best to return at least in part the love and devotion they have shown me! Through them I have friends, I get to go out and have fun in the world, and began believing in my self again!
I am thankful for my dear Granny. Without her I would have lost my sanity a long time ago! She keeps me on the straight and narrow not by hounding, but by showing me by example. She showed me what true peace could be! She never judges, always believes me, and she is the one I could tell anything too!
I am thankful for my job! For many years I lived in what consisted of a glorified assisted living apartment, were I went for months at a time without work due to the incompentance of VR staff. And when I did have work, it was work hardly fir for someone like me. I felt all my talent and intelligence were rotting away, and I would never leave that place. And then came this job! Because of it, I am doing for a living something a very strongly believe in, making a difference on a far larger scale than before with the networking that comes with the job, and I am doing GOOD for others!! I get to persue what I believe is right, and get paid for it!
I am thankful for my mom. She gives me that good kick in the hind quarters when I need it (even when I don’t want to admit I need it….lol) She always makes her mind plain to me. She gives good advice. I am greatful for her honesty and bluntness, and how she never sugarcoats anything. I am greatful for her love, her support, and her strength.
I am thankful for all my brothers. Each one of them has thier own cool traits. They are all very cool, and would give the shirt off thier back for anyone in need. They are funny, helpful, hard working, and loyal.
I am thankful for the safety of one of those brothers, and that he was unharmed at the shooting at Fort Hood. He is a soldier there. And that more people were not harmed.
I am thankful for life itself. It has it’s ups and downs, it’s been a living nightmare, a Dante’s Inferno, and it’s been just ok, and it’s been wonderful. It is a great teacher as to what is truly important, if one only pays attention. It is our greatest gift, whatever your beliefs may be, and I am greatful I did not waste it durring my own suicidal times. For as the saying goes “this to shall pass” and if things are dark now, just hold on, because darkness can not last forever!
