I always say that the positives far outweigh the negatives with my AS.

I really do sometimes feel like it makes me smarter. Or at least more objectionable. And also more open minded.

Positives: Open mindedness, more apt to act on logic than emotion, less judgemental of others, unfalteringly loyal, passionate about the things we believe in, photographic memory, deep love of random subjects such as history where we will engage ourselves in learning as much as we can on said fixtation topic and are passiante about said subjects, high intelligence, being able to be in control ofmy emotions instead over them being in control of me, the ability to know more about ancient history and myth than my old history teacher, being a part of such a wonderful community of people as those in the AS community…..

As you can see, I could go on for hours!!! But I’ll spare you for now. One of the best things is that by having AS I met the love of my life, and after two years, we are still strong, and are promised to one another to one day be wed. :) :):):) (not engaged, but promised, but everyone calls him my fiance’ anyway, lol!!)
