I don't like to <i>hear</i> them, particularly if they blow up at night and I never hear of any official firework celebration. Agree with that last paragraph. I went to a session called <a href="http://ideas.unimelb.edu.au/sessions/day04_session01.html" rel="nofollow"><i>American Perspectives: Hope</i></a> and I thought of the ways that American restrict their citizen freedoms. I would have asked a question about identity politics but I wasn't quite brave enough! Guataremo Bay seems the most obvious.
