great things I was given by many friends will likely be disposed of because I can’t transport it with my car, or its too large to store.
For example I have a great antique old leather desk and a very nice mirror and dresser given to me by a good friend before she moved overseas for mission work.
Its a bit disappointing to have to let all of this stuff go. Also because of Kate’s situation I’m having to store a lot of Katelyn’s stuff as well (you should follow her blog shes doing much better now and I’m proud of her) .
As of right now my current plan is

just to live out of my car for a week or two – I’ll look at it like I’m camping. I kinda like my storage place because it has two outlets so I can always have fresh batteries for my toys, and my shaver (thats why I set the mirror next to it). I hope this is only a short stay in the car, but I have been homeless before and its not really as bad as an experience as people make it out to be.
My only concern right now is where am I going to shower!?

I suggest showering at friends’ houses (if you have any in the area) or at truck stops. You can usually pay a few bucks to shower at a truck stop.

I’ve obviously missed/forgotten something but why can’t you stay with family?
My family is very unsupportive of me.
My mom is angry and upset with me because I did not try and force Katelyn to have an abortion.
My father is never really there for me.
Zach, are you young enough to pass for a college student? If so, I recommend spending a lot of time on a college campus. You can often get showers near the gym, and nobody will blink if you are sleeping or reading at the library for twelve hours a day.
Another suggestion: Cut your hair really short, like a buzz cut. You can keep it much cleaner that way, and duck in and out of showers very quickly.
Don’t keep your car in the same place every night. People will get suspicious.

Thanks for the great showering suggestion. I’m technically a student of the local community college. Maybe I will go workout every morning at their gym!
