I long ago decided to not pursue hacking due to that very sense of morality. The disability defense is designed in law to protect individuals who have no control over their actions. If the UK hacker is capable of the charges, then he is also in my mind competent to stand trial. If he is as I believe competent and he is not tried, it would serve as a major blow to those of us who view Autism not as a curse, but rather as a beautiful gift. Until that review is complete I wouldn't start the "victory celebrations" (if they can be called that) just yet as he may not be extradited to the US if the review goes in his favour.
