I've got to say that I am likely one of the highest socially functioning autistics who presently exist. And I can clearly see (can't we all have, from our own experience?) that attitudes toward autism that are going to be far more destructive to autistics than the condition itself. We don't just need a tee shirt. We need a counter-organization. Aulë Autism Speaks is amazingly…. bad.

It won't cost a thing to participate and the only catch is that you have to spend a period of time walking the whole way. For this reason, I will tell recruits to take food with them to eat along the way.
