So far, all we've heard is what Melissa Barton has said. The only documentation that has been released, such as the police report, vindicate Wendy Portillo.

Also, Melissa Barton seems to add new charges whenever the media circus does down. The charge of battery is very recent and equally ridiculous.

This case is no longer about autism. Melissa Barton wants notoriety and a huge civil judgement.

One final point about Melissa Barton. I wrote to her and stated that she didn't deserve millions of dollars for this incident. Her response was to submit my e-mail address to dozens of web sites in an effort to direct spam my way. That's who you're dealing with.

I have communicated some by email with Melissa Barton; I hope they can get a halfway decent award. Alex does likely have special needs, including counseling, may be out of financial reach of family.

There was absolutely no call for having Alex voted out of school. I too have Aspergers Syndrome. Like Alex, I too have been hurt school days because I was autistic. Children are more fragile than what we think, especially when challenged by the autistic spectrum.

The Barton family needs at least damages from teacher and/or school, be able to obtain special education needs, therapies, and counseling. Talk to somebody that is in the same boat that Alex is in. I've been there and know exactly what it is like.
