Weighted Blankets are great!! We purchased a custom blanket several years ago from DreamCatcher Weighted Blankets at http://www.weightedblanket.net for our son with autism. DreamCatchers was started by the parents of a child with classic autism. The blanket has been a lifesaver .He sleeps with his blanket on all night and could not sleep without it. We are ready to upgrade to a larger size and DreamCatcher’s offer a blanket exchange program to help with the purchase price., while donating to others that need the help. I really miss the lead apron my dentist used to lay on me when taking x-ray pictures. Now that the tech has gone low-dose and computerized, the thing is no longer used. I’m one of those weird people who actually _like_ going to the dentist, so I didn’t actually need it to soothe me, but, well, it _did_ soothe me.
