Even if I don’t agree on the Scientology viewpoint on autism, no parent deserves to be harassed rigt after his/her child dies.

You can call it Schadenfreude if you like (the Schandlichen Freud notwithstanding) but I just love it when the cranks fall out with each other.

It is like the Baptists angle on a Mormon trying to convert a Jehovah’s Witness, highly amusing from that perspective to watch the antics of two people who just do not get the full picture as they argue mislogic against mislogic.

I wouldn’t believe everything you see when it comes to accusations of harrassment. I was accused, a few years ago, of harrassing people in front of an Autism Speaks benefit concert, where I was politely handing out vaccine safety flyers. I was accused by the women of Autism Speaks who organized the concert, and who wanted me to leave and stop handing out my information. I was threatened with arrest and police came. Tho I was harrassing no one.

I do not feel it is right to bombard a family after they are suffering grief. Let them be. There is the 5 stages of Grieving the Travolta’s are going through now.

Does anyone remember them?

Thank you for posting that especially the, “Scientology, Faith and Autism” part! No I do not condemn the Travolta’s in their time of mourning. I am not a scientologist, nor religious, but I do look at all these sorts of things with faith and spirituality so I do not imagine I will ever look to condemn them.
