Carnegie Mellon is going to be holding a Symposium on Autism in October.  Its free.  Its Carnegie Mellon (a big name in science).  It looks like its Quackery Free (which is rare for Autism Symposiums).  I wish I could attend, but I’m not close enough.

According to the program flyer they have put up New Theories of Autism will be discussed, as well as Psychological and Neurological Development, Brain Function, and most importantly to me Real World Issues of those with Autism.

It looks like a lot of very factual and researched information will be discussed, as well as looks at real world issues.   While looking through the flyer’s schedual it seems that there will be very little quackery here.

Attendance is free to all who are interested, if I was closer to Pittsburg I would attend.  Is anyone thinking about going there?

Dang, I wish I could go to that. An entire symposium free of alternative medicine, but including some excellent researchers.
