Applied Behavioral Analysis is a way of ‘correcting’ Autistic behaviors such as stimming, pacing, etc by punishing people for behaviors that are a result from Autism.  Kathy, an Autisitc adult volunteered at an ABA school for awhile and posted a very emotional responce about what she saw and how it impacted her.

And they say autistic people have no empathy. I wonder how to start a class action suit against ABA?

I wish that people who performed ABA were actually properly trained in behavioral principals. Then maybe they would learn that punishment is not the solution. I wish that they could understand how their own savage needs are being fulfilled and reinforced when they apply punishment.
