21st Birthday Extravaganza

Yesterday was Kate’s 21st birthday – and this is what we did.  I still don’t believe I was able to do it!

A Dance Floor like where we were at

A Dance Floor like where we were at

We went to a local college aged bar that a lot of the local college students go to.  It had one of those huge dance floors that changed colors with light bulbs underneath it and a whole bunch of lights, strobe lights, and weird disco balls hanging from the ceiling.  I have to admit it was rather hard to tolerate at first but Kate helped me get through it and we had an excellent time!  I also must admit rather then enjoying the dating I was looking at the lighting in awe of it and how it worked (I guess my Aspergers got the best of me.)

Kate asked our waitress for a recommendation on her a virgin drink she could have and they recommended a Virgin Bloody Marry, and only charged her half price!  I have to say I really liked the taste of them, and so did she.

CHECK IT OUT!!!
But now to shamelessly plug Kate’s new website and part of her birthday present.    Kate has started blogging about her disability, Fetal Alchohol Syndrome at Life With FAS.  If you enjoyed her posting here you should go read it!
